Program Information:

Families can support their student and the school’s mission by doing the following:

  • International Baccalaureate Program
  • Cooper Academy – Middle Years Program
  • Fresno High School – Diploma Program

Family Involvement
The IB Primary Years Program sees learning as a partnership between students, parents/families, and the school.

Families can support their student and the school’s mission by doing the following:

  • Read with your child and share books with them for 30 minutes each day
  • Speak in complete sentences with your child
  • Assist and support your child in research that connects to their classroom learning
  • Ask your student what they learned that day
  • Attend student conferences and other school events throughout the year
  • Read unit letters and school newsletters
  • Support students in their homework and review classwork
  • Follow all policies and requirements that are stated and initialed in the enrollment paperwork

Our Instructional Program

Dailey Elementary Charter School was authorized as an International Baccalaureate World School offering the Primary Years Program (PYP) in April 2013. PYP incorporates the best educational practice from throughout the world.

Its premise is based on thematic, inquiry-based units of instruction which focus on structured questioning methods that promote high – level questioning and global mindedness that encourages and enhances a child’s natural curiosity.

We are also looking for library volunteers to help shelve books, label, and organize inside the library on a consistent basis.

Field Trip Chaperones

If parents are wanting to chaperone a field trip, the application below must be submitted, along with a proof of a negative TB test (TB testing is at the expense of the volunteer). Please see the application for more information.

The Parent Volunteer Committee (PVC) is comprised of Dailey parents who are taking an active role in the school’s activities. The PVC meets after the Director’s Chats with the following goals:

  • Learn about Dailey: Teaching & Learning, Behavior Supports, Structures, etc.
  • Build Community: Events, fundraisers, action projects, etc.
  • Reflect & Provide Input/Feedback: Reflecting after events, input into changes, feedback on school items presented
